We have a modern Diagnostic Imaging department consisting of:

• Digital Radiography (Xray)
• Gastrointestinal imaging
• General Ultrasound; including Obstetrical, Abdominal, Pelvic and other miscellaneous studies
• Vascular Ultrasound (Arterial and Venous dopplers)

Fasting Preparation

All these modalities are connected to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) which is a computerized system for the storage, retrieval and display of diagnostic images in a networked environment. PACS provides remote access to patient images and radiology report information, to authorized users, no matter where they are located in the province. 

We have a radiologist available 24hours a day via PACS and the Sudbury Imaging Specialists as well as on site weekly for consultation.

We are a teaching site for College Boreal Xray students.

Our Cardiac department offers:

• Echocardiography
• Stress testing
• Holter Monitoring
• Electrocardiograms (ECGs)

We are a part of the Espanola Regional Hospital and Health Centre team that provides care for Emergency/ trauma, in patients, Nursing home residence as well as our community's outpatients.
